True North Dreamin (TND) wrapped up today, after two days of keynotes, sessions, and workshops. It was quite a fun event, and especially meeting people in real life that I’ve only spoken to on Zoom or chatted with on LinkedIn.

Here are some thoughts.

People
Meeting and connecting with Salesforce people is awesome. There’s just so much positive energy, it’s invigorating. My colleague, who’s been to multiple non-Salesforce tradeshows, has never seen such a supportive and collaborative group.

This is especially true for the community-led conferences vs the ones organized by Salesforce.

Sessions
This year’s sessions were very informative. I wish I had time to attend more of them. But as a sponsor, I had to be present at the booth for most of the day.

From the ones I was able to attend, the speakers were engaging and the audience was engaged.

The takeaway
There are only two community-led Salesforce events in Canada. TND and Montreal Dreamin.

As a Canadian, it’s wonderful to participate in both these events. I highly recommend you attend several of these types of events per year.
