With each passing week, AI gets smarter and smarter.

Apex coding, formula building, general searching, and troubleshooting are currently well positioned to be completely superseded by AI.

However there’s one important thing that hasn’t been replaced just yet; your humanity.

As a Salesforce consultant, your career isn’t completely technical. There are multiple domains to master and the technical piece is only one of them.

Of the remaining domains, being able to empathize, communicate, and negotiate with your clients is one of your most powerful differentiators. And this shouldn’t be replaced with AI anytime soon (fingers crossed).

That being said, if you’ve invested most of your time into the technical side of your career, now is probably a good time to invest more deeply in your soft skills.
