In honor of the 50th episode of my podcast, Agents of Nonprofit, there was a special guest.
This guest is not used to speaking about himself very much. As such, although he’s the host of a growing podcast, he prefers to interview others. This allows the focus to be on the guest speaker, who is generally an expert in their field. They share their knowledge to a new audience while the host directs the conversation as needed.
This time however, the 50th guest decided it was time to share a little more about his life. He shared things such as
- What it was like to grow up with computers from a young age
- How started his career in software engineering before moving to Siebel CRM and then to Salesforce
- Why he started a podcast in the first place
- How he became a digital nomad
- Lots of other tidbits of details
Yes, the guest was me 🙂
My colleague, Tim Lockie suggested flipping the normal script for the 50th, and I thought it was a great idea. So he hosted the podcast and I answered his questions. It was a lot of fun, actually.
If you’d like to learn more about the guy who’s sends you all these emails, you can listen to the episode here: https://agentsofnonprofit.com/podcast/the-journey-to-salesforce-mastery-with-alexander-lapa
The takeaway
Hosting a weekly podcast is a lot of fun. You get to meet all kinds of cool people in your industry and expand your network. If you ever thought about starting one, I’d be happy to assist you in any way I can.
