When I started these emails, I made a promise to you and to myself to post 5 times a week. And for a long while, I upheld that promise. Breaks excluded, of course.
When I was sick the other week, I really tried to keep my promise. So I wrote that I wasn’t feeling well. The next day wasn’t any better, so I wrote that I’m still sick.

On one hand, I understand some people don’t want to read emails that don’t provide any value. On the other hand, I was simply upholding my promise.
In any case, I’ve decided not to make a big deal out of this. And going forward, I will continue to write 5 days a week. But there may be moments where I’ll skip a Friday. And hopefully everyone will be OK with that.
On that note, I’ve decided to end things for the year today. I’m taking a wonderfully long break for the holidays and will return on Jan 5, 2026.
