After attending the DreamOle Salesforce conference in Sevilla, Spain, I’ve discovered a new addiction.

Previous to that event, I’ve only attended Dreamforce in San Francisco, US. But that was back in 2015. It was awesome on so many levels, even if it kinda felt like some people were “drinking from the Kool-Aid”. There was an unmistakable energy there!

DreamOle was much lower energy, but I attended a few interesting sessions and made some good connections. And apparently it invoked something inside.

This Thursday is the Salesforce World Tour in NYC, and I’m going. There are 226 sessions offered in a single day! I’ve made my choices. Sometimes it was hard to play favourites, and sometimes it was painfully easy.

I’m especially curious to hear about the data model for the new Nonprofit Cloud. There’s lots to learn about it and nothing replaces boots on the ground to digest this information.

The takeaway
If you’re also going to NYC, let me know and I’d love to meet up! Nothing compares to meeting like-minded people face-to-face, and we can swap notes about sessions we attended.

If you don’t have a chance to attend, no worries. I’ll summarize what I’ve learned and share it with you.
