Today I visited a hospital for some routine blood tests. Every time I visit, it’s a pleasure. While that may sound odd at first, it’s because of their excellent customer service.

It started with the ease of booking an appointment with a doctor online within a reasonable time frame.

The consultation was fast and the doctor prescribed some blood tests. I just had to show up at the hospital before eating – no appointment needed.

The receptionist was friendly and inviting. She just needed my identification.

The technician was experienced and the process was painless.

Finally, the wait times were always short.

Behind the scenes and supporting all of these individuals, was technology. Each step in the process was clear and easy. For example, I knew when it was my turn to greet the receptionist based on the number taken from the kiosk.

This experience isn’t so different from a strong Salesforce agency. Although you may have one all-star, it takes a team to achieve a truly excellent experience.

Building a strong team takes effort, but the results are worth it. And be sure your tech and processes support you and your client along each step.
