I’m slowly building this email list. The idea is to eventually reduce working on Salesforce projects and focus on coaching. It’s a long term goal, but one I started thinking about two years ago.
To gain readers, do the following:
- I occasionally share these emails with LinkedIn
- If it does well, I receive a lot of connection requests
- I accept all requests, and message each person with the following:
—
Thanks for connecting!
I’m curious to know what made you decide to connect – was it a particular post or comment?
By the way, I send emails to help Salesforce consultants become “awesomer” and believe this could be interesting for you. Check it and decide for yourself at https://thegoodenoughconsultant.com
Either way, I look forward to swaping Salesforce knowledge with you!

You may reading this email because you received this very message on LinkedIn. If so, hello!
The process to message someone is manual, but I use a text expander to write the actual text. It’s called TextBlaze, and it’s a Chrome add-on.
I just need to type “/” followed by a short keyword (e.g. “/con”), and the extension replaces the keyword with the above text. It saves a ton of time when messaging dozens of people!
The takeaway
LinkedIn is a great way to expand your network. Take advantage of it by actually messaging your new connections.
