We now have definite evidence that says traditional work, defined as Monday-to-Friday, and from 9-to-5, is over for remote-capable employees. This includes Salesforce consultants.

The new “hot” models are:

Hybrid 
This means you’re in the office perhaps 2 or 3 times a week, and you decide which are those days.

Research has found over and over that hybrid workers are 5% to 13% more productive than fully in-office workers. They are also happier, as it provides some flexibility while including the benefits of face-to-face social interactions.

Fully remote 
These workers require some best practices to keep themselves engaged. But once set up, businesses office space costs and allow workers further distances apart to collaborate. Workers also love complete autonomy.

The takeaway
The pandemic accelerated the shift away from the typical corporate structure. But this movement just makes sense on every level. Both employers and employees win.
