Everyone once in a while, your Salesforce project will go sideways. The solution isn’t working, the deadline is looming, and your client is frustrated.
So it’s all hands on deck. Time to get organized as a team and solve all remaining issues.
While this can be done asynchronously, a much better approach is to have a war room.
A war room is where you get all team members in a virtual (or physical) room, and figure things out together. Depending on the needs, it may last an hour, a day, or multiple days.
War rooms are great for last minute touch-ups, user acceptance testing (UAT), and general problem-solving that need more than 2-3 people to resolve.
Personally, I love the idea of going into a war room, because it emphasises the team as a unit, marching towards a common goal.
The takeaway
When it’s time for war, it may be time for a war room.
