As summer begins, I’ve decided to take a more relaxed approach to these emails.

Rather than committing to 4-5 emails per week, for the coming months, they may range anywhere between 1-5 per week.

Aside from spending more time outside, or being with friends and family, I feel a shift in the Salesforce ecosystem. This shift is slight for now, but it’s becoming more noticeable.

The feeling is this: Salesforce isn’t the same company it was 10 years ago. I’m not sure where it’s trying to go, but it feels like it’s losing the admiration of its customers.

Constantly changing product names, aggressively pushing AI and agents when core functionality is still broken, quickly imposing highly impactful changes in the name of security, firing employees on a whim – the list goes on.

So I feel the need to step back and breath a little.

The takeaway
For the next few months, I’ve decided to spend more time in the real world. And I’ll be more present, mindful, and grateful for the life I have right now.
