Over the years, I’ve become aware of just how important it is to speak.

Speak not just to your team, or your clients. But to your audience.

This means getting up on stage or on a podcast, and sharing your thoughts. It doesn’t matter whether you are the event organizer or the host of the podcast. Speak publicly and speak often.

The more you share your ideas, the better you are at explaining them. And when you can explain your thoughts more clearly and succinctly, you become a better Salescorce consultant.

Communication is one of the most important skills you can have. It’s completely transferable, will last you a lifetime, and will help you build your authority.

It’s also a skill you can learn and become better at. So don’t let inexperience or fear limit you. Everyone started somewhere, and most of them started at the beginning.

Once your speech is over, you can also ask for tips from some of the audience. See it as constructive criticism.
