Today was the Agentforce World Tour in Toronto, and I wish I had a recap for you.
Let’s start at the beginning. I was prepared for a long day. The flight from Montreal departed at 6.45am and arrived in Toronto around 8.30am. This gave me plenty of time to make it to the conference for around 9.30.
Then the departure from Toronto was around 11pm, to arrive back in Montreal just after midnight.
I don’t normally do these in-and-out-in-one-day trips, but the logistics and the finances worked out well.
The only thing I couldn’t be prepared for was WestJet postponing the first flight until 4.30pm. And I learned this only a few hours before the flight.
No other reasonable flight was available on any airline, so I asked them to cancel and give me a refund. Since the fault was their own (it was a crew issue), they agreed.
This was sad news because I was looking forward to meeting several people, including someone I’ve known and worked with for 6 years and have never met in person.
The takeaway
On the positive side, I had a full day without a single scheduled meeting. So I made the most of it and was quite productive.
As for Agentforce, I’m sure you’ll hear more about it soon. Salesforce is pushing the marketing really hard.
