A few days ago, 10K released this year’s annual report on the Salesforce Talent Ecosystem.
Here are some notable mentions.
Summary
After two years of decline, the Salesforce job market is rebounding with a new phase of maturity, called “cautious optimism”. Demand for talent has increased globally and new talent continues to accelerate.
However companies are much more intentional about the talent they hire. This means the more specialized you are, the more noticeable you become.
Roles
In terms of global supply, here are some of the year-over-year increases:
- Admins: 45%
- Business Analysts: 34%
- Developers: 20%
- Consultants: 10%
- Solution Architects: 14%
This means demand is increasing for non-technical roles and decreasing for technical ones. AI is contributing to this change.
Partners
The number of consulting partners grew by 25%, and are mostly composed of small, highly specialized teams. This means firms with 1-5 certified experts now represent nearly 40% of all partners.
