As you may know, Marc Benioff recently made an odd comment at an event. It was supposed to be humorous, but definitely wasn’t received that way.
This is not the first time he’s made a comment that didn’t land the way he expected it to.
Given this, should your opinion of Salesforce, as a company, change? Should you start considering other career options?
As a Salesforce consultant, we are dependent on a single platform. When it rises, our career will grow. When it falls, so will our opportunities. This is just a fact of life for us.
The decision to stay or go is a personal one. Either way, it’s probably safer not to tie yourself permanently to something you don’t have control over.
Also, don’t forget that Salesforce is more than just one person.
