As a digital nomad, as long as you have a laptop and internet access, you can pretty much work anywhere you choose.

When I travel, I usually decide between Airbnb and hotels. The decision depends on how long I intend to stay, what amenities I’m looking for, and what overall experience I want.

Now there’s a 3rd option: Anyplace

Anyplace is a relatively new player in the market. They rent apartments, pimp them out, and then sublet them to digital nomads. They cater to a specialized market, and they make guarantees such as

  • Move-in ready furnished apartments
  • Fully equipped workspaces
  • Gigabit speed internet
  • First-class customer service

In comparison, I’ve seen far too many Airbnb listings that wrote there’s a dedicated workspace only to be a small kitchen table that needs to be also used for eating. And “high speed internet access” isn’t. Anyplace seems to solve these issues.

Now, I’m not actually trying to promote this organization. But I’m taking note that it recently received $8.28 million in Series B funding. This place is growing. And that’s probably because there’s a need for it.

The takeaway
More and more companies are offering services specifically for digital nomads/remote workers. So now is a great time to take advantage of these opportunities, grab your laptop, pick your destination, and move your butt!
