There was a Trailblazer Community meetup for the Salesforce Developer Group in Montreal this past Wednesday.

As Montreal is my hometown, it was a delight to attend.

A cozy group of developers, analysts, consultants, and a few architects were present. Although I wasn’t there for too long, I made several new connections.

That’s what I love about these kinds of events. It’s so easy to literally walk up to anyone and introduce yourself. And you never know whether the next conversation will land you a new project, a new understanding of Salesforce, or a new friend.

I’ve also noticed that the smaller the event, the more connections you make. And those connections run deeper too.

The takeaway
I constantly advocate for everyone to attend Salesforce events. You really feel like you’re part of a larger community, and you become better known in that community.
