If you haven’t already noticed, Salesforce is really pushing their AI advancements.
Like really pushing.
I believe they started labelling last year’s Dreamforce (their annual conference in San Francisco) as the “largest AI event in the world”. This year was no different.
Working mostly in the nonprofit sector, I don’t have many clients asking about AI. They have much simpler problems to solve, and smaller budgets to work with.
Larger corporations can definitely leverage the technology, those with call centers and large sales teams. But what about everyone else?
Note: I’m trying to separate the AI hype from the reality. If you have some thoughts, please share them with me.
In a further effort to push AI-everything, Salesforce recently announced their two AI certification exams are free until the end of 2025. Retakes of these exams are not free.

If you haven’t already, perhaps it’s time to consider stepping a little deeper into Salesforce’s AI.
Although certs are not as valuable as they once were, learning something about the topic will definitely help your career.
