According to a recent article, Salesforce partners are not financially benefiting from implementing Agentforce. The original report is behind a paywall, so it cannot be referenced directly.
11% of the agencies surveyed said they had not seen much immediate interest in Agentforce. 56% expected to see interest but needed time for initiatives to mature.
After participating in several Agentforce workshops, I share the latter opinion.
Without knowing all the details, it seems the tools that allow you to build agents have gone through several iterations. And these iterations are not backwards compatible. That doesn’t provide a strong sense of confidence.
It’ll be interesting to see how (or even if), Salesforce addresses this challenge at Dreamforce later this year.
The takeaway
Agentforce still seems to be a type of vaporware. It sounds good on paper, but hasn’t found its rightful place yet.
