If you haven’t heard yet, Agentforce Sales, formerly known as Sales Cloud, will be called Sales Cloud again.

The same applies to all other Agentforce variations. Here’s an article from The Next Web with more details.

Personally, I was never a big fan of the name Agentforce Nonprofit (AFNP). So I’m happy it’s reverting to Nonprofit Cloud (NPC).

I wonder how many apps/partners/etc. embraced the new name and now need to make changes. I’m also curious how Salesforce customers will respond.

The Agentforce name was only introduced last year. This update will probably reduce confusion in the long term, but might leave people scratching their heads in the short term.

A website tracks all these name changes. It’s called Renameforce.

The takeaway
When something is repeatedly changed or renamed, it can cause people to lose trust. Which is supposed to be Salesforce’s core principle.
