Today I leave for Italy and will stay for about two weeks.
I’ve visited several times, but all previous trips were with a girl. This is the first time it’ll be with the boys. Should be fun and different.
Before leaving, I had to request vacation time from my boss. Just kidding!
The fact that I didn’t need to ask anyone for permission is empowering. Heck, I didn’t even need to tell any of my clients.
Some people say I’m lucky, but luck has nothing to do with this. I engineered this lifestyle with purposeful intention.
Years ago, I realized that I don’t want someone else dictating what I can and cannot do. When I’m allowed to leave my desk or leave the country.
So step by step, I built my dream lifestyle. It wasn’t always a straight line, but I got there eventually.
