For the last two days, I’ve been at Northeast Dreamin in Manchester, New Hampshire, and it’s been a blast!

Some familiar faces were present, most of whom I met in person while at the Salesforce World Tour in NYC earlier this year.

There were also plenty of new faces, most of whom I’ve chatted with or connected virtually. So it was awesome to build deeper connections with them face-to-face.

I was also impressed with the quality of the breakout sessions, including

  • Jodi Hrbek: How to not just be a McAdmin, but how to own your Salesforce org
  • Ian Gotts: How to avoid FOBO (the fear of being obsolete) in an AI-enabled world
  • Skye Tyler and Jen Best: Ways to think about next-level design experiences
  • Ryan Ozimek: Get ready for the next generation of nonprofit cloud
  • Daniel Gorton: How to deliver empathetic and joyful user experiences

The organizers also need to be applauded. This is a community-driven event, managed by volunteers, and they were well prepared for the 450 attendees. Sessions were on schedule and there were sufficient breaks to ask follow-up questions, network with others, and just be human.

There were also some great keynotes speeches by Salesforce execs and even a quasi-standby routine by SteveMo.

The takeaway
Although I’ve been in the Salesforce ecosystem for more than 10 years, this was only my 4th conference. The more I go to, the more I want to keep going.

The next one is Nonprofit Dreamin, Nov 1-2 in Chicago. Let me know if you’ll be there too.
